She didn't come to the Savior in repentance. She was taken in the very act of adultery. When the pharisees told Him that the law said she was to be stoned and what did He have to say about it, he stooped down and wrote in the dirt. Then He stood up and told them to cast the first stone if they were without sin. After they left, He stooped down to her again to raise her up. The point was that He came down to her. She was on the ground. He got on the ground with her. That's what He does, regardless of whether we come to Him in repentance or not. Then she told us of a dream she had. She said she was in a big, empty warehouse. She was the only one there other than a teenage boy. She said she could tell he was a gang member by the way he was dressed. He asked her to tell him about her Church. She turned away from him and began to make sandwiches. She said there was this elaborate spread of meats, cheeses, condiments, and breads. She proceeded to put together this amazing sandwich and put it in a really nice bag. She then turned to the boy and handed him the bag and he left. She said she was really disturbed by the dream. For the next 4 days, she contemplated that dream and prayed about it. She wondered why she didn't tell him about the church. It really bothered her. Then on the Sunday after the dream the Lord gave her a revelation about the dream. He told her that what the boy needed was to eat. Then she related it to the story of the Savior and the woman taken in adultery. The Savior comes down to whatever level we are on. The ultimate goal is to bring them to the Savior so they can covenant with Him but we have to come down to where people are, like the Savior does. That really struck me hard. I've been thinking about my sons. they aren't going to accept Christ right now so I need to figure out where they are and meet them there to help them. I just need to figure out where that is. So my prayers will be shifting a bit.
My goals for this week:
- Continue reading in the Book of Mormon and catch up
- Attend the temple - boy do I need direction...
- Pray about where I can meet my boys

I love the idea of praying how to meet the boys. This is what they need and want anyway (at least that's what I think).
