Well I did better but now where I would like to be. I read the lesson. Very quickly last night. I did pray more but I felt so distracted all the time. I read the scriptures but didn't really study them. I did work on my house and tonight, at dinner, we talked about the temple and Sarah's trip there etc. Christopher left half way through but Adam stayed and even seemed interested. He seemed pleased that she was able to attend the Endowment and sealing of a convert she had last year. Plus she went to the temple Friday too. Twice in one week. He was disappointed that they only let the missionaries go to the temple two times a year usually. He thought that was wrong. He seemed engaged in the conversation and didn't huff about it. I would say that's a huge win!
Any way, I think I will keep the same goals:
- Read the lesson
- Invite my boys - if Adam is still living with us
- Spend more time in prayer
- Make a better effort at scripture study. I'm reading but not really studying
- Continue working on my home to make it a place of refuge
You have great goals! I think it is weird that missionaries don't go to the temple more often as well, but they are involved in spiritual things all of the time and do not all have a temple in their mission.
