I successfully listened to the Old Testament 4 days this week. I had to stay home to wait for a guy to look at our furnace on Friday and did not listen to it that day. I am now on 1 Kings 8. The best part of doing this has been how much my testimony has been growing about things that do not seem to be related to what I am listening to. It is possible that it does and I am just not seeing the connection, or it may just be that I am feeling closer to the Spirit as I work on this endeavor. I can say that I really feel like I am showing the Lord that I can put him first when it comes to what I am listening to for half of my work day.
I will only be working 3 days this week, but I will make sure to listen all of those days. I will also study the "Come Follow Me" lesson by Sunday.
