As the year comes to an end, I realized that there are some goals that I would like to achieve before the end of the year. One of them is to listen to all of the standard works by the end of the year. I started this last month, but I am only in Exodus. Since I just sit at my desk listening to stuff all day, this is an achievable goal. I think I have been doing it wrong though. By the time I finish lunch, I am exhausted because I haven't been sleeping well lately. Listening to the man reading the scriptures with his soothing voice makes it hard to stay awake. I need to change this to the morning when I am more alert and listen to the other stuff in the afternoon. It isn't like the podcasts are going to disappear if I don't finish them the day they come out. Plus, this should put me in a better mood (I'm hoping).
