Just when things are going well...

 Well, we did well on Monday and Tuesday but we fizzled out. It doesn't help that I am the one who always has to remember and initiate scripture study and reading. It makes me mad. It means I always have to be the strong one and I hate that we can't be partners in this. I didn't even read my own scriptures this week. I really felt it too. By the weekend I was feeling pretty down. It didn't help that John and I were in charge of the ward Halloween party (which means I was in charge). It was a lot of work and pure chaos from 10 am Saturday to 10 pm. With set up and clean up and cooking, prepping, chopping, running a fear factor, pumpkin carving contest, etc. It was soooooo much work! We were also in charge of the part of the fifth Sunday meeting today. Our calling warranted it. Which means I was in charge of it. So I had a 15-minute part that I came up with at 8 am this morning. it turned out great and was a good day over all. I felt rejuvenated. I'm always thankful for Sundays like today. Sarah brought her boyfriend over for dinner and we played Ticket to Ride too. I'm thankful last week's stress is over. This week is a heavy school load but I don't have anything else on my calendar so I can just focus on getting back on track with reading scriptures and books together as well as at least once in my gratitude journal.
