Not much

 I really didn't pray or read scriptures much this week, other than to prepare my primary lesson. I thought a lot about how to teach the kids. I decided to stick to one aspect of the lesson. There were four different themes this past week, such as fasting, temptations, fishers of men, and Jesus as our Savior. I focused solely on Jesus as our Savior. I felt like that was a foundation I really wanted to make sure they had. I bought them each a small picture of Jesus holding a lamb with a broken leg. It's titled the Healer of Broken Hearts or something like that. Here's the picture...

I really fell in love with this when I saw it at Deseret Book. The girl that is struggling so much in my class broke her foot last week. She came in a full cast in a wheelchair. She got a lot of attention and I was able to really connect with her as a result. She really ate up the attention, so I think I know what direction I need to go. It was a good day in primary. Even though I didn't really accomplish most of my goals, today was a success. 

I'm going to keep the same goals for next week...
