A Work in Progress

After reading my goals from my last post, I know I did ok on them for a week. I posted something spiritual almost every day for a week on Facebook. That was not an easy task, but it was worth it to focus on the spiritual things provided on it. The other day I heard Eric make an interesting comment about social media when a friend asked him why he was not on social media.  He said, "I was on Facebook but it is a cancer I don't want to deal with." When his fried told him to use Snap instead he commented, "I don't need anymore cancer." What a great response. I wish I was as disciplined as my son.
My spiritual high for this week was going to the temple with Eric and Noel on Tuesday. It is so wonderful for to see Noel be baptized and Eric baptize for those who did not have the opportunity to do it themselves in this life. We were also able to bring family names meaning that Chad and I now have names to perform other ordinances as well.
I would love to live my life in a way where I can find at least one spritual high each week. I can't go to the temple every week, but I can find ways to enjoy the wonderful spirit the gospel brings in other ways.
My goals this week are:

• continue my nightly prayers
• journal at least twice
• identify at least one spiritual moment
