Much Better

This week went a lot better! I listened to the Old Testament 4 days and wrote in my journal 5. Chad and I successfully completed the "Come, Follow Me" lesson as well as the lesson we missed. I even made it to the temple!
Going to the temple was my favorite part of the week. I had listened to the audio book "Educated" during the week, and it shook me. I can't describe why or how. I just know I did not like the way I felt when the book was done. I had talked to Chad about it, and he agreed with me that I should go to the temple as planned to feel better. Saturday morning, I read a talk by James E. Faust that said in one part one of the little things that the devil delights in is when worthy temple recommend  holders who live close enough to a temple do not go to the temple. This strengthened my resolve to go that afternoon. On the way up, I listened to the scriptures. It felt so good to be there that I had tears in my eyes more than once during the ceremony as well as in the Celestial Room. I could still feel that high from going to the temple this morning. I can't wait until I can go again.
This week, I will:

• Listen to the Old Testament daily
• Write in my journal daily
• Complete the "Come, Follow Me" lesson with Chad
