Feeling Good

I did my scripture study for at least 10 minutes Tuesday through Friday and wrote in my journal each time when I was done. It felt so good to get this into my routine as I get ready for work. I have envied the people who say they just open their scriptures and study where they are led to study for a long time. I decided that there is no reason to envy them, I can try to do it myself. So I have been praying before I start with my Book of Mormon in front of me. Then, I set my timer for 10 minutes and open the book and read. I have found some great things that I didn't think about before. One day, I went into a rabbit hole looking for scriptures that talked about secret combinations. I learned more than I have ever before about the subject. I can't wait to find out what more I can learn from this experiment. I may some day try it with more scriptures, but for now the Book of Mormon has so much in it that I don't think I will run out of things to read about and study.
This week, I am going to continue my study of the Book of Mormon 10 minutes a day and journal afterwards.
